About Me
I love dogs. I’ll often drop everything else at an assignment to go say hello to any friendly-looking canine. I grew up with a series of mutts, but my wife and I live with a pair of Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Angus and Willow, and we’re fairly active in the San Diego Corgi Meetup.
I have the usual box full of childhood photos, but I first took photography seriously for my journalism minor at UC Riverside under instructors Joe Deal and Kenda North. After years as a newspaper reporter, I was drawn back to photography while covering San Diego Comic-Con International for SignOnSanDiego in the early 2000s.
I have since completed the professional certificate in Photography: Images and Techniques at UC San Diego Extension.
I am currently a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).
